Here is the agenda for tomorrow night.
At this meeting, we will vote on 3 things: 1) approval of the Board Members; 2) approval of the budget; 3) approval of the bylaw change regarding inactive members. We will introduce our new membership software, MemberSplash. We also look forward to answering your questions about the upcoming season.
1. Approval of Board Members
The following Pool members have agreed to serve as Board members. We still have vacancies on the Board, so if you are interested in serving, please let Will know (President@highpointpool.net).
Will Moschella: Pool President
Dale Skoric: Operations
Scott Major: Assistant Operations
Greg DelCotto: Treasurer
Michelle Welck: Assistant Treasurer
Aaron Enatsky: Treasurer
Matt Galbraith: Capital Improvements
Derek Fetsch: Membership
Oliver Coudert: Assistant Membership
Sara Kirkwood: Communications
Angela Na: Swim Team President
Mick McKeown: Member at Large
2. Approval of the Budget
We will present the Budget at the meeting. We are not proposing a dues increase.
3. Approval of the Bylaw Amendment
The Board is recommending that the Membership approve a change to Bylaw 4.5 regarding inactive members. Currently the bylaw states:
4.5. A member may become an inactive member in good standing by paying the amount designated as the annual inactive fee as established by the Board of Directors and approved by the membership. There is no limit on how long a member may be inactive.
The change would strike the last sentence and alter the bylaw as follows:
4.5. A member may become an inactive member in good standing by paying the amount designated as the annual inactive fee as established by the Board of Directors and approved by the membership. A member in inactive status requesting reinstatement to active status will be reinstated when the first vacancy occurs, and on payment of annual dues and any special assessments.
